WINTER AMUSEMENTS.
At the AMPHITHEATRE RIDING-SCHOOL, WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE;
On Monday next, being the 10th of Dec. 1781. Will be presented several extraordinary Feats of Horsemanship and other Agility on Foot.
Master ASTLEY will go through many wonderful Attitudes of Dancing on a single Horse, (the invention is quite new) which Performances have been uncommonly followed an applauded by many persons of distinction; unexperienced horsemen, not having command of their bodies when even seated in the saddle, find great difficulty in securing themselves on horseback, the many fatal accidents sufficiently prove it; Master ASTLEY, with every graceful agility of the most eminent Stage Dancer, displays several Characters of Comic and Serious Dancing on full speed. Mr. and Mrs. TAYLOR, and the whole Little Family of Performers will also exhibit great Variety. The Conjuring Horse will perform in a singular manner. The amazing Woman in Miniature will make her appearance for a few Evenings.
Doors to be opened at half past five, to begin at half past six. Admittance, Boxes 2s. 6d. Upper Boxes 1s. 6d. Pit 1s. Side Gallery, only 6d.
Gentlemen and Ladies instructed to Manage the Horse through all the extensive Parts of Horsemanship, the knowledge of which may prevent fatal accidents. Horses carefully broke for Army, Road, Field, Draught, &c.
