On which occasion will be presented, for the FIRST TIME, a Classica Selection of Hippo-Dramatic Compositions, combining the associated Talents of a TREBLE COMPANY of Stage, Equestrian, and Gymnastic Artists, and which have been in preparation during the whole of the Winter, to be untitled The

The whole of the Invented Spectacle got up, Arranged and Produced under the sole Direction of Mr. DUCROW; The Dance of Mummies; The Processions; The Combats, Poses of the Gladiators; The Costume, composed and designed by Him.—The Dialogue by Mr. Amherst.—The Music by Mr. Callcott.—The beautiful tasteful Sceneryy b [sic]Messrs. Danson, Adams, Telbi, Marelli and Assistants.—The Dresses by Mr. Smithers, Mrs. Auld and Assistants.—The Properties by Mr. Woodyer and Assistants.—The Machinery by Mr. Mackintosh.—The which, in Arrangements of the Platforms under the Direction of Mr. W. WEST.

For this production the auspicious Outlets of this Establishment, which are the most extensive of any in London, have been added, the STAGE and CIRCLE have been

For the exhibition of the BARGES and GALLIES of the Ancients, joined to the Stage, in order to represent with fidelity a Colossal Amphitheatre for OLYMPIC EXERCISES—CONTESTS OF ARMS—STREGGLES OF THE GLADIATORS—COURSE of the WILD STEEDS, CHARIOT RACING,

With the Pomp and Splendour of the GREEK and TROJAN ARMIES; to give the effect to this New Arrangement, TWO HUNDRED & TWENTY ARTISTS in these different Departments with new and most splendid Attire, will be brought in one Grand Simultaneous Movement before the view of the Spectator, added to

THE SPLENDID ARRAY, WILL APPEAR

Of Different Nations—the STUD of WILD ZEBRAS and TROOPS of FAIR PONIES.

The Gorgeous Scenery—Properties—Mechanical Arrangements of the Double and Treble Stages—the correctness of the Costume—the beauty of the Music, and general general [sic] getting up of the Piece, is hoped will convince the Public that no effort has been spared on the part of the Properties spared in producing for their Entertainment, one of the most BRILLIANT SPECTACLES ever offered to the Patrons of this Establishment.—The opening Scene will represent

Victorious return of the Greeks, with Spoils and Captives taken from the Trojan Cohorts.—After an interesting combination of effect and Dramatic Incident, which the limits of this announce cannot contain, the First Act will conclude with the immense interior of

THE TROJAN CIRCUS & WATER ARENA!

Blending the Circle and Stage as in the Amphitheatre of the Ancients.—Grand Sacrificial Offerings to the Deities.—Entree of the Greek and Trojan Armies.—The War Cars of the Chiefs.—The Twenty Mounted Guards and King of Priam’s Throned [sic] Chariots, with Gladiators, Slaves, Prisoners, Troops, Trophies and Amazons.

COMBAT with the WILD ANIMALS!

Racing Cars, terminating with a general CONFLICT between the Greeks and Trojans.—Overthrow and Dismay.—Equestrian Evolutions.—Combats.—Victorious and Dying Gladiators.—Fight of the Trojan Women highly wrought up to a Living Representation of David’s Picture of the Sabine’s.

Act 2, View of the Ionian Sea,

With the remains of an Ancient Temple, for the Formation of which the whole length and height of the Stage has been employed in making the Ascent to the Upper Gallery of the Oracle. The extraordinary and imposing effect produced by this Novel Stage Arrangement fully repays the expence of the errection. Concerted Pieces of Music and incidental Effects of this Scene are highly interesting.

Some amusing dashes of Comic Incidents are introduced to enliven the effect of the general arrangement;--leading to a Grand

LIVING AND SCENIC DIORAMA,

Representing a Treble Countermovement never yet introduced on the Stage, the Advancing, Ascending, and Passing of the Grand PROCESSION and ENTREE of the GIANT HORSE, with the Greek and Trojan Forces, Riches and Emblematic Insignia; also a View of the Walls—City—Temples—Statues—Subhurbs [sic]—River BARGES, & beautiful Views around the plaices of Troy, heightened by a corresponding change of Horizon.—The BENEDICTION of the MAGI in the TEMPLE of the BLAZING ALTARS. This beautiful Decoration is accompanied by a Cavalcade and Display of the whole resources of the Theatre, in which will be introduced TWELVE beautiful and picturesque Vehicles, Cars and Chariots, bearing the LION CENTAUR—BEASTS of PREY—BIRDS of COLOUR—The Kings and Prices of the surrounding Districts—Bacchanalians.

REAL ZEBRAS!

HORNED CATTLE—PERSIAN STEEDS of BLOOD: Trophies and Banners; Maidens, Vestals, Minstrels of Religious Song; CHARIOT of OXEN; Slaves; Prisoners; Animated Mummies & Sorcerers.—Egyptian Grotesques. The GIANT HORSE of SINON, with an Escort of Guards, &c. &c.

PEDESTAL AND THE HORSE WITHIN THE WALLS OF TROY.

Descent of the Greek Spies, and opening of the Gates to the Enemy, leading to the extensive LAST SCENE pourtraying the SIEGE by Land and Sea. Final struggle of the Trojans and Captivity of Priam, in which will be introduced the whole STUD and COMPANY. This effect the Managers hope till terminate the above Piece in a manner never surpassed on any Stage.

Priests, Soothsayers, Chieftains, Athletic Warriors, Trojan and Grecian Troops, Banner Bearers, Sorcerers, Grotesques, by every Person connected with the Establishment, aided by 120 Supernumeraries.

After which, Mr. DUCROW, Splendid SCENES in the CIRCLE, which will commence with some

Graceful Academic Poses on TWO HORSES by Mr. STICKNEY, the celebrated American Horseman.

To be followed by the beautiful Riding of Miss WOODFORD as the ROSIER.
