ASTLEY’S ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE.

The truly gorgeous and delightful hippodramatic spectacle of “Azael” continues to draw immensely at this establishment, and bids fair to outrun in the number of its representations the celebrated piece, “Mazeppa.” Nothing can possibly surpass the splendour of the costume, scenery, and general “mounting” of Azael, the most complete and attractive equestrian performance of modern times. All the resources of the amphitheatre are put into requisition in order to render it pre-eminently nightly evince their astonishment and pleasure at this magnificent spectacle.
