ASTLEY’S.—Mr. Batty, lessee of the Amphitheatre, will retire from the management next week. Mr. Batty succeeded the celebrated Andrew Ducrow. He concludes his management with Mazeppa; or, The Wild Horse, one of the most successful pieces ever produced. Mr. William Cooke will re-open the establishment on Easter-Monday.
HIPPODROME.—We are informed that it is the intention of Mr. Cooke, the new lessee of Astley’s, to open the Hippodrome at Kensington for a few weeks during the summer season.
