ASTLEY’S ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE
WILL OPEN for the SUMMER SEASON on EASTER MONDAY, March 28th, 1853, under the Sole-Management of Mr. WM. COOKE, Lessee, with an Original Grand Equestrian Spectacle, by E. Fitzball, Esq., New Scenery, Costumes, &c. introducing a NEW DRAMATIC COMPANY, and Mr. Cooke’s highly-trained stud of fifty horses, &c.
The Scenes of the Arena supported by the first equestrians of the age.
Alterations and embellishments are being effected in the audience part of the theatre, and a New Act Drop, painted by Mr. E. B. Herbert.
The Box-office will open on Thursday, March 24th, from Eleven till Four. Stage-Manager, Mr. W. WEST.
