Amphitheatre Riding School, Westminster Bridge.

--The winter campaign of this house began last Monday night, and they very flattering testimony of a numerous and brilliant audience, bestowed on Master Astley’s different and inimitable performances on horse back, bid fair to rival the last season; the serious and comic dancing, the demi-caricature and comic attitudes are not to be equalled, we may say in the world, but more particularly by the whole tribe of dancers, from the two Vestris’s even down to Mr. Punch.—Mrs. Taylor performed wonders, and the little Family of Tumblers, were astonishing; the Woman in Miniature was well introduced: the Conjuring Horse possesses a wonderful memory, and was very attentive to his master: in short, it plainly appears by this new exhibition, that Mr. Astley has sacrificed much time to his Son’s tuition and the Horses in question.
