YOUNG MEN under the age of 30, and not less than five feet four inches in height, living in this and every other Country, ARE WANTED, to complete a Regiment. Those desirous of joining in MILITARY GLORY are invited to apply immediately to the Sergeant Money-taker at ASTLEY’S ROYAL AMPHITHATRE, which is HEAD QUARTERS, to witness the Brilliant Achievements nightly accomplished in the National Spectacle of the BATTLE OF WATERLOO, as in daily practice at the CAMP AT CHOBHAM, which will inspire them with MILITARY ENTHUSIASM, so that they may gain a NAME IN ARMS, returning laden with PRIZE MONEY, adding LAURELS TO THEIR COUNTRY. They can be attended by their FATHERS, MOTHERS, SISTERS, BROTHERS, WIVES or SWEETHEARTS, as the case may be.
[pointer-finger symbol] BILLETTING ORDERS are issued in the form of CHECKS, by payment of 5s. to the Stalls; 4s. to the Dress Boxes; to the Upper Boxes, 3s; to the Pit, 2s; to the Gallery, 1s; to the Upper Gallery, 6d. If they do not arrive at their Quarters till half-past Eight, half the amount will be taken. N.B. The time for applying for CHECKS is at the Opening of the Doors, viz. half-past Six.
