Last night a new Comic Pantomime, called War
and Peace, or Harlequin and the Miller’s Daughter,
was produced at ASTLEY’S, Westminster-bridge. It
is replete with laughable incidents, beautiful scenery,
and excellent mechanical changes. The whole was
greeted by a crowded audience, with reiterated
shouts of laughter, and will, we predict, add an-
other powerful magnet to the already irresistible at-
tractions of this elegant and fashionable Theatre.
