It is observed by a correspondent, that the trial of skill to be exhibited at the Royal Grove this day, is truly picturesque of Astley’s competition with other places of public amusement. For by his spirit and dexterity, he souses them all in the water of public neglect, while he is rewarded with the fair and lovely nymphs of public patronage.
