Royal Grove,

In addition to the many pleasing entertainments at this place, the incomparable Sieur Bousilcon, the celebrrted [sic] Ventriloquist, will, this evening, perform his astonishing imitations.—For particulars of which, see Astley’s advertisement in the front of this paper.

SMALL TALK, or CHAT ON THE TURP.

Lord Gallop. Pray does Mr. Hughes dance a minuet on horse-back?

Groom. Oh no, my Lord, he is too fond of manly exercise to dance a minuet on horse-back, like a he, she, girl.

Lord Gallop. I hear his Apprentice jumps through a hoghead, while the horses are on full speed, I never saw the like any where else?

Groom. No, my Lord, and I fear you never will—it has been often attempted, but never conquered.

Lord Gallop. And pray, what family are the Charini’s? what kind of performances are theirs?

Groom. My Lord, they are better seen than described, for they are above my comprehension.

Lord Gallop. Well, the go, and keep the front boxes for me and my family this evening.

Groom. Very well my Lord.
