The Surprising Monkey GENERAL JACKOO,
From the FAIR of St. GERMAIN, in PARIS.
This Animal has been celebrated for his astonishing Performance on the TIGHT-ROPE, and other Exercises, which are beyond conception.
A New Comic Dance, (never performed in England) called HOP and KICK at the TAMBOURINE.
The principal characters by the celebrated Signor ?????, from the Theatre Royal at Naples, and ?????.

Old ?????, Mr. WILKINSON; Reasonable Fool, Mr. CONNEL, Wickem, Mr. POX; ?????, Mr. KARLO; Poet, Mr. DECASTRO; and Haney, Mrs. SAUNDERS.
In the course of the Evening’s Entertainments will be presented the amazing Exhibition of
The D A N C I N G D O G S,
From France and Italy; by Signor and Signora Maisa,
- Two Dogs, as Chairmen, carrying a Monkey to a Masquerade.
- Two Dogs with a Yoke of Milk Pails.
- A Company of Dogs, carrying from a Vineyard Baskets of Grapes, and accompanied by a Savoyard, with a Magic Table.
- A Dog as a Lady of Quality in her Equipage, attended by others in elegant liveries.
- A Dog a Spinning.
- A Dog that walks on any two of his Legs.
- Two Dogs, as a Tumbler and his attendant Clown.
- A Dog, dressed in a Spanish Habit, taking another little Dog to a Boarding school; with a variety of others, too numerous for insertion.
This Exhibition will conclude with a Variety of Dogs dressed EN MILITAIRE, besieging a Town; one of them represents a Corporal returning with the Colours of the Citadel in his Mouth to his General: he halts on three legs, being supposed to have received a musket ball in one of his fore feet. Two Bull Dogs; the English Bull-Dog, rather than quit his hold, suffers himself to be drawn Thirty Feet high, whilst the machine is surrounded with Fire Works, representing a heavy discharge of artillery.
TUMBLING, and other NEW EXERCISES,
By the most Capital and eminent Group of Tumblers that were ever seen in England, viz.
Mr. Lawrence, Signor Bellmotte, Signor Cassemere, Signor Phillips, Master Lawrance, Master Bell, &c. &c. Clown, Mr. Burt.
To which will be added a new Pantomime, called
HARLEQUIN’s REVENGE;
Or, THE CAMP IN AN UPROAR.
With three New Scenes, and various Alterations and Additions.
The Pantomime to conclude with a new Ballet, Songs, and Chorus, taken from the celebrated Comedy, called THE MARRIAGE of FIGARO, as now exhibited with universal applause in Paris. Mr. Astley being informed that the Ballet and Airs had been omitted in that comedy when he was performed at the Theatre Royal, Covent-garden, purchased the Music, &c. from the Ballet Master of the French Comedie, to add to the many new amusements of his Amphitheatre.
With entire new Music, Scenery, Dresses, and Machinery.

The Amphitheatre is illuminated in a manner entirely new. The Chandelier has been invented by Mr. Astley, in order to give greater effect to the different Exhibitions, and to render the Illuminations less incommodious to the audience.
