The Pantomime of the Death of General Wolfe still attracts very powerfully. Young Astley is a great acquisition to it. The Musical Piece of the Monster gains more and more on the town, particularly so, since that piece has been announced to be represented at Drury-Lane. Anticipation was never more in vogue, but we give Astley credit for bringing it out first. Numbers flock to Westminster Bridge to see the Monster in his true colours
