Intelligence from the ROYAL GROVE Westminster-Bridge.
On Monday evening an entire change of Entertainments took place at the above Theatre. Among a variety of capital amusements, was performed a New Dance, brought out by Mons. MARQUI, called the Animated Statue, which does him infinite credit, being quite out of the common Geare of dances.—The scenery is the most beautiful we ever beheld, and struck the spectators with admiration, particularly the sudden change from the Grotto to a delightful Parterre and Cascade, which had a most charming effect; in short, it was an unexpected treat to the numerous beholders, who were highly pleased—A new Musical Piece was also presented, called the Blunt Tar, in which that character was displayed in the true British stile of honest frankness, so peculiar to that generous and hardy race of mankind. The piece is replete with many good and humorous songs, the music excellent, and the different characters well supported.
