Last night, the Amusements of this new Theatre opened, for the first time, under the direction of Mr. ASTLEY, jun. and, from their merit and variety, he has given the greatest promise of succeeding his father in public approbation, as well as he has in the arduous procession of providing for the public entertainment. We think he deserves the greatest praise for not raising his prices of admittance to those of other Theatres, when he has now rivaled them in their dramatic excellences, and even surpassed them in their dramatic excellences, and even surpassed them in the novelty and variety of public amusements.
