As the LITTLE DEVIL was vaulting on the back of his horse, at ASTLEY’s last Tuesday evening, the animal took fright, by which accident the rider was thrown into the Orchestra, and in the midst of the Fiddlers. His Highness’s fall occasioned much discord amongst Messrs. Crotchets and Semibrief; threw them all into a Quiver, and for a time put a bar to their performance. Call this affectuose, or whatever other fine name you please, exclaimed one; but I declare it to be Bass, and will rest accordingly. Young Belzebub having by this time thrown a summerset from the Orchestra into the Ride, remounted his steed, as if nothing had happened, and went through his different feats, to the astonishment and admiration of every spectator.
