BAGSHOT HEATH CAMP.

ROYAL SALOON, and NEW AMPHITHEATRE,

Westminster Bridge,

Under the Direction of Mr. ASTLEY, Jun.

THIS EVENING, the 16th of August, 1792, and every EVENING following, will be presented a pleasing variety of favourite Amusements.

Particularly an entire New Musical Piece, called

BAGSHOT-HEATH CAMP;

OR, THE LINE OF MARCH.

In which will be introduced, an exact Representation of the Line of March from Hertford-bridge Flats to Bagshot-heath, with the Baggage Waggon, Park of Artillery, &c. the manner of the Army striking their Tents loading their Bat Horses on the signal being given for that purpose, with a view of the whole.

GRAND CAMP,

Formed for the Purpose of exercising and improving his Majesty’s Forces in new War Manoeuvres.

Together with a View of the Troop Horses, Breast Line, Picquest Posts, and other Camp Equipage, also the Pavilion on the right Wing, for the Reception of

THEIR MAJESTIES.

The Whole taken on the spot, by an eminent Artist, from the Light-horse line, being the Left-wing of the Incampment [sic], in a direct line to the Artillery Camp, on the right of the whole Army.

This Military Spectacle interpreted with the Recitative, Songs, Duets, Trios, and Choruses, purposely prepared for the occasion.

The Characters as follow:

Farmer Sledges, Mr. CONNELL; Corporal, Mr. FOX; William, Mr. WHITMORE; Drummer, Mr. DECASTRO; Doctor, Mr. JEFFRIES; Grace, Mrs. DECASTRO;

And Pyeman to the Camo, (with a comic Song, descriptive of the curious Characters on Horse-back and Ass-back, in Chaises, Gigs, and Curricles, at loos on the Road, and the Catastrophe on the Heath (during the grand Military Manoeuvres) by Mr. JOHANNOT.

A PASTORAL DANCE, (composed by Mons. MERCEROT) called

THE FLORISTS.

A favourite MUSICAL PIECE, called

THE HAUNTED VILLAGE.

Just arrived from BRUSSELS,

LE SIEUR and MADAME VERNET, whose performances on the VIOLIN and TAMBOUR DE BASS, &c. are beyond conception, but need only be seen to be believed. They execute the most difficult Pieces of Music in various and astonishing Attitudes;

With a variety of other PERFORMANCES, too numerous to insert.

In the Intervals of the Stage Entertainments, a variety of Exercises on

FOOT and HORSEBACK.

By Performers the most eminent in their line in this or any other country.

The Whole to conclude with a PANTOMIME OLIO, called

HURLEY BURLEY.

Doors to be opened at Half past Five, to begin at Half past Six o’clock precisely.

Boxes 3s.—Pit 2s—Gallery 1s.

Places to be taken of Mrs. Connell, at the Saloon, from Ten till Four o’clock; and Servants to attend at Half past Five to keep them.
