9 beat] Westminster Bridge.—Last night made its appearance at this place, one of the most pleasing, brilliant, an interesting Pantomimes ever exhibited on a stage.—It is called “Harlequin in Ireland,” from the best views of which country, its scenes are taken—The mechanism displayed in this Piece is new—to describe it would be impossible, for though we have some knowledge of Mathematics in general, we found ourselves frequently at a loss, and in particular with respect ti the cause of the motion of the flying Chariot over the extensive and unmeasurable Lakes of Killarney, the Devil’s Punch Bowl, &c.—The Giant’s Causeway, Water fall of Poola Joukla, Views of Dublin, and Diana’s Chamber, are s amusing to the Artist as the Irish Fair, and the various Metamorphoses are to the lovers of FUN.
