BAGSHOT HEATH CAMP, AT ASTLEY’S.—Whether it was the invention of the Old Soldier or the Young Equestrian, we know not, but we can say with propriety, we never were present at any Entertainment which gave more satisfaction, we were happy that the spectators coincided in our opinion—unbounded applause followed every scene, particularly when the soldiers struck their tents and loaded their bat horses.—The view of the grand army’s encampment had a most noble military appearance. The light horse lines are somewhat detached from the camp, we suppose it was done in order that the horses might be seen to a greater advantage; we believe it is the first time that a horse and foot camp was ever introduced in a Theatre. The house was remarkably crowded, and from the reception of this Piece, there is not the least doubt, but that it will have a great run and be amply productive.
