Why the ROYAL SALOON should serve only as a Summer Theatre, is to us extraordinary, when it is to be rendered warm or cold at pleasure, and is consequently as well suited to the comfortless months of December and January as to the sultry ones of July and August. The public seem to be aware of this advantage, for, notwithstanding the severity of the weather since the commencement of the season (a few days only excepted) that favourite place had been frequented by the first fashion and beauty of London and its environs.
