If Young Astley had had a mind to have accommodated all those who wished to be accommodated last night at the Royal Saloon, other places of entertainment would have come but short off.—We do not absolutely say, that this Theatre is the only one worthy they attention of the public, though we know none that rank higher in the esteem of the town. Its success yesterday may be attributed most to its proximity to the River, where was collected the greatest number of spectators ever beheld, and who seemed as eager to spend the remainder of the evening at Astley’s, as they were to see the Race, in the former part of it, on the Thames.
