Last week brought us the news of the capture of Metz and Valeuciennes, and exhibited at WESTMINSTER BRIDGE, the SURRENDER OF CONDE. YOUNG ASTLEY, who always suits his Pieces to the Times, has succeeded in this beyond all precedent, for surely no military spectacle ever performed, could boast of greater merit or more variety. As every one is interested in the success of the Allied Armies, every one must receive infinite satisfaction is to be derived. To understand well the positions of our troops, the situations of the towns about to be besieged, and the manner of doing it, it is highly necessary to see the SURRENDER OF CONDE at the ROYAL SALOON; without which all succeeding Pieces would be as imperfect as a book without a preface, or a play without a prologue.
