ROYAL SALOON.
The Manager of this Theatre has, it seems, fixed upon tomorrow, as the day on which his Grand Changer of Performance is to face the public an event which is the more wished for, as the siege of Valenciennes (which is to form a part) has much excited the curiosity of the town. The reputation which this new Spectacle has acquired, amongst those admitted to rehearsals, exceeds both description and behef; if this be the case already, and at imperfect Exhibitions, how will it be extolled when it shall appear habited in its proper attire and adorned with every attraction which it could possibly receive from the military talents of OLD ASTLEY, and the merit, spirit, and unwearied assiduity of his SON? as a skirmish is inferior to a great and decisive victory, so much so are all the sieges (or whatever else they may be called) of prior Exhibition to this; which from the Instruction as well as Amusement which it is likely to convey, promises to effect wonders for this House.
