LOYALTY TRIUMPHANT.—With a resolution worthy of universal imitation, Mr. ASTLEY of the Royal Saloon, has voluntarily stepped forward, and set an example of a nature so spirited, so noble, and so loyal, in every sense of the word, as does credit to his feelings as a man, and his honour as a soldier.—Conscious of the hardships which his brave countrymen are liable to as soldiers, from the inclemency of a winter campaign, he has, in the most generous manner, assured the undertaking set on foot by the Ladies, to supply the defenders of their country with Flannel Waistcoats; and, at his own expense, furnishes an entire regiment with this useful article; and munificently gives up the profits of this night’s performance at the Royal Saloon, for the benefit of his brother-soldiers.
