LORD HOWE,
And the Glorious FIRST of JUNE, 1794.
Mr. ASTLEY, Sen. most humbly submits a NAVAL SPECTACLE, founded on the glorious Victory obtained over the French Fleet, on the 1st of June, he having been present at Portsmouth at the arrival of the British Fleet, and the Prizes taken from the enemy; and having visited several of the same, and obtained every information, and Sketches of the above important event, so highly honourable to the British Nation, as well as to Earl Howe, and the brave Officers, Seamen, and Mariners under his authority. Mr. ASTLEY having completed the whole for public representation, flatters himself it will not be unacceptable to his numerous visitors.

THIS and EVERY EVENING, until further notice, will be presented, various New Performances.
A new Historical Pantomime Ballet, called

With several War Manoeuvres, by the Europeans and Indians.

JERRY SNEAK IN HIS GLORY.
A Comic Extravaganza Ballet, called
THE MORAVIAN COW-KEEPERS.
A whimsical Operatical Entertainment, called
THE BRUSSLES RIDOTTO,
In which will be introduced the Inauguration of the
EMPEROR OF GERMANY.
In the course of the Entertainment will be given
EXTRAORDINARY EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES,
First Time, a Grand NAVAL SPECTACLE, called
OLD ENGLAND FOR EVER!
Or, Earl HOWE and the Glorious FIRST of JUNE.
Interspersed with Songs, Duets, and Pantomime Action, purposely prepared for the occasion; with new Scenery, Music, Dresses, Decorations, &c.
In Scene I. will be presented the British and French Fleets in real action.
In Scene II. will be exhibited the Deck of the Admiral’s Ship, &c. &c. &c.
In Scene III. will be pourtrayed [sic] the manner of conveying the French Prisoners to Hilsey Barracks.
In Scene IV. will be given a representation of the Officers, Artificers, &c. &c. of the Dock-yards, marching in procession with their proper emblems, to congratulate Earl Howe on his important Victory over the French.
In Scene V. will be displayed an exact view (taken from Portsmouth Point) of the French prizes at anchor, together with a view of the British Fleet, as they appeared on Friday the 13th, Saturday the 14th, and Sunday the 15th of June.
This Piece to conclude with a Grand Chorus, Allegorical Transparency, &c.
The Evening’s Amusements to conclude with a Grand Mechanical Pantomime, called
THE WEIRD SISTERS.
