ROYAL SALOON INTELLIGENCE.
The above place has been crowded every night, to see ASTLEY’s New Grand Naval Spectacle, on the occasion of the signal defeat of the French fleet by Lord Howe, on the 1st of June. Nothing can equal the beautiful effect of the shipping in real action, with the representation of the real condition of the French ships, and manoeuvering of the two fleets; which, with their arrival at Portsmouth, and the reception of Lord Howe on the occasion, with the procession, songs, and choruses [sic], forms a most delightful coup d’oeuil, and was received with uncommon applause.
