THE SAILOR’s DESCRIPTION OF A FOX CHACE,
With a Hornpipe on a Single Horse, in Dress and Character,
By Mr. TAYLOR.
PONEY RACES, by the best Ponies and Infant Riders in all England.
Between the Heats will be run (around the Course)
A FOOT RACE,
Between Two Young Men, (eminent runners) being a private Bet.
Likewise a SACK RACE,
By Three Men, the Winner will be entitled to a Capital Prize.
And (for this night only) Mr. TAYLOR will go through the different Manoeuvres of the
BROAD SWORD,
On Horseback, displaying every Guard, cut, and Thrust, Offensive and Defensive, as was formerly made use of by the General Elliot’s Regiment of Light Horse.
A New Comic Musical Piece, called
THE REASONABLE FOOL.
Mr. TAYLOR’s EQUESTRIAN EERCISE
On Two Horses; with a surprising Leap over Two Garters, Ten Feet from the Ground.
THE TUMBLERS VAGARIES.
A new Operatical Ballet, composed y Mons. Mercerot, called
THE SHEPHERDS HOMAGE TO PAN,
In which will be introduced Mons. Vestris’s last new favourite
ALLEMANDE EN ATTITUDE.
A New Musical Piece, (written by Mr. Upton) called
HE WOULD BE A PLAYER;
Or, THE STAGE-STRUCK BUTLER.
In which Mr. Johannot will sing Two entire new Songs, one entitled “The pretty little Fellow is the Dandy O! or the Ladies Favourite;”—the other Comic and Whimsical, called “Lump’d Together; or, every one a Player in his way!”
The whole to conclude with a new, splendid, and brilliant Pantomime, called
THE FAIRY’s FANTASY;
Or, The Enchanted Manor.
With New Scenery, Machinery, Decorations, Dresses, and Music;
Interspersed with the greatest variety of Mechanical Changes, Magical Transitions, and wonderful Metamorphoses.
Doors to be opened at Half past Five, and the Curtain ascends at Half past Six o’clock.
