AMPHITHEATRE OF ARTS, WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE.
THIS EVENING, October 9, will be presented (first time) a Comic Pantomime, called
HARLEQUIN’s WHIM.
In which will be introduced two Comic Songs, by Mrss. Cross and Cosgrove, “called “John Trot’s Description of London;” and “The Fashionable Friseur.”
(Never performed) an entirely new Burletta, called
THE COMET;
Or, A HUNT FROM AESOP.
A new Comic Dance, called The Savoyards, or Berghers Holiday.
In the course of the Stage Performances will be presented the Exercises of the MONKIES.
A new Comic Song, by Mr. JOHANNOT, called “John Gilpin’s Description of driving his Gig.”
Tumbling and Pyramids, by the whole Troop. The moving Ladder. Equestrian Exercises.
Particularly (for this night only) will be introduced the wonderful performances of the MANEGE HORSE, instructed, amongst a variety of other matters, to fetch his Saddle and Bridle, to unloose his Girths, and take off the Saddle, to attend the Tea-table as a Waiter, taking off from a large fire a tea-kettle of boiling water, and carrying the same to the table.
To which will be added, a new Harlequin Pantomime,called [sic]

Or, The World Metamorphosed.
