THIS present MONDAY Evening, May 16, 1796, will be presented the following Novel and pleasing Amusements, viz.
Never performed, an entire New Musical, Local, Comic Sketch, called
WHITSUN MONDAY; or, GREENWICH A-HOY!
In which will be pourtrayed [sic] the Adventures of a Cobler, his Wife, a Carpenter, a Beau, a Milliner, a Mantuamaker [sic], a Taylor, a Rolling Kiddy, an Old Maid, a Welshman, a Scotchman, an Irishman, a Soldier, and a Sailor, in the RIGHT-WHEELED CARAVAN.
The Music partly New, and partly compiled.—The Dresses, Scenery, &c. entirely New, particularly a View of Greenwich Park and Hospital, Rolling Hill, Observatory, &c.
Never Acted, a New Ballet, composed by Mr. West, called
SAFE MOORED IN THE DOWNS;
Or, THE SAILOR’s RETURN.
With a perspective View of the Homeward-bound Fleet heaving in Sight.
A new DOUBLE HORNPIPE, and a MEDLEY HORNPIPE, by Mr. West and Mrs. Mercerot.
Never performed, an entire new Comic Burletta, (translated from the French) called
THE MARRIAGE BY COMEDY;
Or, FASHIONABLE PLAYFOLKS.
In order to keep up a constant Succession of Amusements, various EXERCISES on FOOT and HORSEBACK;
And the much-admired PONEY RACES,
By the best Ponies and Infant Jockies in all the World.
Please to observe, that on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the Little Blood Ponies will run; and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the Little Foresters.

THE CATABAW INDIANS,
Most respectfully informs the Nobility, Gentry, and others, that they are re-engaged for Twelve Nights, and will appear dressed in real Indian Habits, with their proper Implements and Decorations; and will perform a Variety of Exercises peculiar to the Natives of that country.

THE MAGICIAN OF THE ROCKS;
Or, HARLEQUIN IN LONDON.
With the greatest and most splendid variety of new Scenery and Machinery, Mechanical Changes, and Scenic Transformations ever produced; also new Dresses, superb Decorations, Music, &c.
Harlequin, Mr. Lascelles; Sir Toby Hobble, Mr. Fox; Count Umbrella, Mons. Laurent; Magician, Mr. Decastro; Choral Wizards and Witches, Messrs. Connel, Whitmore, Taylor, Collett, Mrs. Saunders, Mrs. Wallack, Mrs. Williamson, Mrs. Denton, and Mrs. Mercerot. Hymen Mons. Mercerot; Fame, Master Taylor; Skeleton, Mr. Davis; Rabbit-man, Mr. Jenkinson; Postman, Mr. J. Jenkinson; Sprite of the Moon, Mrs. Decastro; Columbine, (with a leap) Miss WILLIS, (being her first appearance); and Clown, Mr. WEST, (after the manner of his Old Master, Grimaldi); Ballad Singer, Mr. JOHANNOT, who will sing the favourite Song called “Paddy O’Blarney.”
The Pantomime to conclude with a most beautiful and magnificent AEriel, Vertical Colonade, and Brilliant Transparent Celestial Temple, the whole in motion. This costly and extensive mechanical production composed and prepared by Mr. West.—The Scenery by Mess. Crieve, Whitmore, Seaward, Spitzer, and Assistants.—The Machinery by Mr. Matthews.—The Dresses by Mess. Gottlieb, Clary, Bates, &c.
