TOTAL CHANGE OF PERFORMANCES,

And the Second and Last Week of the Cabinet of MONKIES.

Their Performances as follow:

Rope-Dancing; Comic Consultation, or Tete-a-Tete; seated at the Table at Public Breakfast; wonderful Attitudes and Agility of Body on the Slack Rope, on full swing, &c. &c. entirely new in England, and positively beyond human credibility.

[three star symbol] Mr. ASTLEY most respectfully informs the Frequenters of this Theatre, that the celebrated Signor LIONARDI, and his famous Comic Cabinet of Performers, are just arrived from Hamburgh, in the good ship Elizabeth, and engaged at a very considerable sum, to perform their uncommon various Exercises, in a most pleasing, wonderful, and astonishing manner.

THE DUTCH TEA-GARDEN;

In which the whole Company will assist in Dance, Song, and Spectacle.

Second Time this season, a new Historical Pantomime, in Two Parts, translated from the French, and as performed at the Theatres in Paris, called

THE AMERICAN HEROINE.

The Scenery, Machinery, Decorations, Dresses, Music, &c. entirely new.

Most assuredly the Last Week of the celebrated Sig. Lionardi’s

CABINET OF MONKIES,

Who will perform in a most extraordinary and surprising manner, on different Tables, Chairs, Pyramids, &c. &c. Likewise astonishing Tight Rope-Dancing; also Consultation at Table, at public Breakfast; likewise singular Performances on the Slack-Rope, &c. &c.

The Cabinet of Monkies has for a long time been the admiration of the curious on the Continent, as well from their singularity, as their agility in their different performances.

A new Comic Song, by Mr. JOHANNOT, called

THE HUMOURS OF BARTHOLOMEW FAIR.

TUMBLING, and the PYRAMIDS, by a capital Group.

Second Time this season, a Musical Piece, called

THE HAUNTED VILLAGE.

In the Intervals, various EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES, &c.

[pointer-finger symbol] Signor ROMALDO, professor of Natural Philosophy, is engaged at this Theatre, and will exhibit, in the course of the Evening’s Performances, various Experiments with different Chemical Apparatus, representing Hydraulical [sic] Devices, and Mechanical Fire-Works.

The whole to conclude with a Grand Mechanical Pantomime, called

THE FAIRY’s FANTASY.

Replete with new Scenery, Machinery, Dresses, and other Decorations, interspersed with Songs, Chorusses [sic], Recitative, Dancing, &c. &c.

Doors to be open at half past Five, and to begin at half past Six precisely.

Boxes 4s. Second Price 2s.—Pit 2s. Second Price 1s.—Gallery 1s. Second Price 6d.—Second Price to commence at half past Eight o’clock, as usual.

In future, a Change of Amusements will take place every Monday.
