BOAT-RACE.
THIS DAY, Wednesday, June 7th, 1797, Seven Pair of Oars are to start at Two, Three, Four, and Five o’Clock, from Westminster Bridge, for the PRIZE WHERRY, given by Mr. ASTLEY to Free Watermen, in honour of his Majesty’s Birth-day.—In the Evening a Variety of New Entertainments will be presented at the AMPHITHEATRE of ARTS, (ASTLEY’s), Westminster Bridge.
[three star symbol] Please to observe, preceding the Pantomime the successful Candidate will be carried round the Amphitheatre in grand triumph in the Prize Wherry.
N.B. The frequenters of the above Theatre are most respectfully informed, that Mr. HANDY’s Grand Troop of Equestrians, assisted by two Ladies, also the surprising Cabinet of Monkies, and the four New Entertainments, will be given every evening this week.
Doors to be opened at Half past Five, and to begin precisely at Half past Six.—Admittance as usual.
