NEW ENTERTAINMENTS.

The Nineteenth Change of Amusements this Season.

AMPHITHEATRE of ARTS, (ASTLEY’s) WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE,

THIS and every EVENING this Week,

WILL BE PRESENTED,

(First time) a new local Intermezzio, called

BARTHOLOMEW FAIR.

(First time) a Comic Musical Entertainment, called

THE STOCK-JOBBER DUPED, or The Two Nannies.

A Comic, Operatical, and Pantomimical Ballet, by

M. Mercerot, called

LA FILLE MAL GARDEE.

(First time) the Grand Troops of Tumblers and Rope-Vaulters will go through various and singular

EXERCISES OF AGILITY.

Sig. Leonardi, Proprietor of the Monkies, having been prevented from embarking for the Continent, from an unforeseen event, Mr. Astley, in compliance with the general wish of his numerous Visitors, is happy to announce that the Curious

CABINET OF MONKIES,

Will appear a few evenings previous to the arrangement of the necessary preparations for their quitting this kingdom. In the Intervals of the above Amusements, various Equestrian Exercises. The whole to conclude (being most assuredly the last week of its being performed this Season) with the new much-admired and Grand Serio and Comic Pantomime, called

THE EGYPTIAN ORACLE;

Or, HARLEQUIN CRIMINAL.

Interspersed with a most splendid variety of scenery, machinery, mechanical changes, scenic transformations, metamorphoses, &c. suited to the customs and manners of the Egyptians, contrasted with the Europeans of the present day.

The Music, Songs, Duets, Chorusses [sic], Dances, Dresses, &c. &c. entirely new, analogous to the piece.

The Pantomime composed, arranged, and written by Mr. ASTLEY, jun.

Doors to be opened at Half past Five, and to begin at Half past Six o’clock.

Box 4s. Second Price 2s.—Pit 2s. Second Price 1s.—Gallery 1s. Second Price 6d.—Second Price to commence at Half past Eight o’clock precisely.

Places to be taken of Mrs. Connell, Box Office, Westminster-Bridge.

[three star symbol] In order to prevent disappointment to the Nobility and Gentry (who cannot always come to the Theatre previous to the expiration of the time allotted to their servants to keep their places) Mr. Astley begs leave to observe, that Three Boxes, called Saloon Boxes, will be set apart for private parties, to which they may have admittance, at full price, at any and all periods of the performance.

N.B. There will be new Entertainments every Monday during the Summer season, at this Theatre, the only place of Amusement at which this plan, so much, and so universally approved of, has, or can be adopted.
