THIS present Evening, and every Evening this Week, and no longer, a Comic Burletta and Spectacle, called THE FROZEN POLE, with new Scenery, Machinery, Dresses, and Music analogous to the Piece.—Also, a Divertissement and Ballet, called THE PROVINCIAL SAILORS, with appropriate and fanciful Scenery, Machinery, &c.—Likewise, a favourite Pantomime, in two Acts, translated from the French, and as performed at the Ambigu Comique, Paris, called THE AMERICAN HEROINE, or the Ungrateful Spaniard, interspersed with War Manoeuvres, various Combats, affecting Incidents, Dances, &c. &c.—In the intervals of the Stage Entertainments, the Company of Horsemen will go through various and singular Exercises of Agility, particularly the surprising and unequalled Tourbillion Twenty Times.—Two Comic Songs by Masters H. and J. Brysons.—A Burletta, with Dancing, called THE MILLINER’s SHOP.—The whole to conclude with a Pantomimic Olio, called HURLE BURLY, in which will be introduced the favourite and laughable Scenes, Situations, &c. selected from several capital Pantomimes, viz. The Magic World; Harlequin, Emperor of the Moon; Harlequin’s Gambols; The Mandarin: with a Representation of the Children of the Sun; and Celestial Temple.-At the conclusion of the Pantomime will be presented the ESCAPE of Sir SYDNEY SMITH, pourtrayed [sic] in a most ingenious and novel manner, shweing [sic] the Prison of the Temple at Paris—the Fiacre, in which Sir Sydney was conveying to the general Depor—the Mob and confusion which favoured his Escape—the French Row-boat, with Sir Sydney Smith making the Signal to the Argo Frigate, with an Appropriate NAUTICAL FIRE-WORK; decorated, amongst various other Devices, with the Swedish Order of Merit, and the Anchor of Hope. The whole most respectfully offered to the Public, in commemoration of the safe arrival of Sir Sydney Smith in Old England.
