The Boat Race on the Thames (near Westminster Bridge), by seven pair of oars, will commence this day about three, and conclude at six o’clock in the evening. There will be great doings at ASTLEY’s Theatre; Smith, Crossman, Handy, Davis, &c. &c. with other Equestrians, (eleven in number) having entirely quitted Jones’s Royal Circus last Saturday evening, are, previous to their quitting England, to perform a few nights against an equal number of Horsemen belonging to both the ASTLEYS. The contest will take place this present Monday Evening, in the course of the numerous and new Entertainments at ASTLEY’s Amphitheatre, Westminster-Bridge.—Particulars in the Advertisement.
