There are now in performance three distinct good, theatrical plots and under-plots, each subject replete with ingenious Scenery and Machinery. Those the most striking in point of sudden transformation, appertain to the new Comic Pantomime of the Daemon’s Tribunal, viz. the animated Blocks, in the Barber’s Shop, to two [smudged]nstrels; the Pig, that runs out of the dish after it is [smudged]led; the Mechanical Androide Harlequin, which rises from a plum-pudding and fires a pistol at the Clown; and the Tulips, which expand, and give a cake, glass, and wine, at command, and afterwards change to Serpents ten feet long, are such wonderful Pantomimical incidents as fill the Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster Bridge, every evening.
