THIS present EVENING, will be presented, (2d time) a new Military and Naval Spectacle of Action, called THE PHILANTHROPIC FEMALE; or THE BRITISH ARMY IN HOLLAND; pourtraying [sic]a variety of incidents which have recently occurred, the Scenery, &c. of which have been in preparation since the commencement of the SECRET EXPEDITION, and introducing the following Songs, Duets, Chorusses [sic], &c. &c. Song 1. The Faithful Camp Butcher, Mr. Cosgrove. Song 2. The industrious Camp Laundress, Mrs. Wallack. Song 3. The dashing Battalion-man, Mr. De Castro. 4. Duet, Different Opinions; Dutchman, Mr. Fox; French-man, Mr. De Castro. Song 5. The Secret Expedition, or Vive Sir Ralph Abercromby, Lord Duncan, and Admiral Mitchell; Mr. Girton. 6. Stanza and Grand Chorus, The Generous British Army and Navy, by the whole Company.—The whole written, invented, planned, and arranged, by Mr. ASTLEY, Sen. and got up under the immediate direction of Mr. ASTLEY, Jun.—In the Piece will be displayed, amongst a variety of other Scenery, the following striking Views, by capital Artists: 1. An Inn at Canterbury. 2. A Sutler Tent. 3. The extensive Camp on Barham Downs, as it appeared prior to the Sailing of the First Division. 4. The Grand Park of Flying and Besieging Artillery. 5. A Dutch Kitchen. 6. The Town and Fortifications of Alkmaar. 7. The Helder Point, Mouth of the Texel, with the Dutch Fleet at Anchor; also the Entry of the British Squadron into the Zuyder Zee.—Immediately after the above Spectacle, the Performances of Mr. ATKINS, the Ventriloquist.—A Grand Ballet of Action (by Mr. ASTLEY, Jun.) called ROLLA and CORA; or, The Virgin of the Sun—Various EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES; and, for a few Evenings longer, the Grand Troop of JUMPERS—To conclude with a new Comic Pantomime (also by Mr. Astley, jun) called THE DEMON’s TRIBUNAL; or, Harlequin’s Enterprises.
