The new Military Piece, called the Philanthropic Female, or the British Army in Holland, was performed last night at Astley’s Theatre, for the first time, to as full a House as ever was witnessed; the Songs are excellent, and the Military Views new and beautiful.—The whole was received with unbounded applause, and will be performed this Evening, for the second time. A full description of the Songs and Scenery may be found in Astley’s Advertisement, in the front of this Paper.
