The Grand Scale of Entertainments which are this night to appear at the Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, are certainly such as the Actress, for whose Benefit they are to be presented (Miss Smith) may, in some manner, be said to be entitled to. The Public, in the course of the summer, have not only seen repeatedly her merits, both in Cora and the Black Castle, but have as often stamped and confirmed her worth by the general voice of approbation, and, as such, she may be said to look to that Public, this evening, with confidence, for their patronage, even were the new-comic Spectacle of the Death of Tippoo Saib, and the other novelties, entirely out of the question.
