[pointer-finger symbol] From the uncommon demand for Places, and the nightly Overflow from every part of this Theatre, the Public are respectfully informed that the following Entertainments will be continued ONLY SIX NIGHTS longer.
THIS present MONDAY, and every Evening until Saturday next, will be presented the Grand Spectacle Romance of THE BLACK CASTLE; or, Spirit of Ravia: in which Mr. Astley, jun. and Miss Smith will perform in principal Characters.—In the course of the Evening, the wonderful EQUESTRIAN TROOP, viz. Mess. Smith, Crossman, and Handy, with 15 other Capital Performers, will go through their unequalled Feats of Horsemanship.—The whole to conclude with the Comic Pantomime, called THE DEMON’s TRIBUNAL; or, Harlequin’s Enterprizes [sic]. Principal Characters, Harlequin, Mr. Lassels; Pantaloon, Mr. Marqui; Pierrot, Mr. Bradbury; and Clown, Mr. Laurent; Friendly Genii, Miss Gray; and Columbine, Mrs. Mercerot.—In the course of the above Pantomime, Mr. Johannot will sing a new Song, called All the World turned Grinders.
Doors to be opened at Half past Five; to begin at Half past Six.—Boxes 4s. Pit 2s. Gall. 1s. Second Price at Half past Eight o’clock.—Places for the Boxes to be taken of Mrs. Connell, Boxkeeper, at the Theatre, from Eleven till Three.
[three star symbol] On Monday the 5th of May, a Change of Entertainments will take place, when will be presented, by desire of several Officers of the Army, the last new Grand Military Spectacle of the SIEGE and STORMING of SERINGAPATAM, or the DEATH of TIPPOO SAIB.
N.B. The Public are most respectfully informed, that a new Spectacle Romance, as also a new Comic Pantomime, are in Rehearsal, and will shortly be produced, with entirely new and extensive scenery, machinery, dresses, and other decorations.
