THE AMPHITHEATRE, WESTMINSTER-BRIDGE.—The new Manager of this place, Mr. ASTLEY, jun. seems determined that the early past of his Government shall evince a spirit of liberality in his engagements that no competitor can surpass, or perhaps be inclined to equal. Thus we see, exclusive of the re-engagement of JOHANNOT, with Mr. and Mrs. GRAY, and the astonishing LAURANT, from the ROYAL CIRCUS, we find annexed to his own equestrians, those surprising horsemen, SMITH, HANDY, and CROSSMAN! Such a combination of strength and abilities all concentered at one theatre, we believe to stand without a precedent. The overflowing audience of last night is, however, a convincing proof of their attraction; and the thunder of applause which attended every performance, and even followed the fall of the curtain, proves that it will continue this and every evening. Such entertainments can be witnessed.
