To the very flattering, but just notice taken of the house, as well as the amusements given in our paper of yesterday, we have only at this time to announce to our Readers, that the Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, opened for the second time yesterday evening with all possible additional splendour, when the grand spectacle of the Iron Tower was, by being played in a more finished state than such a continuation of scenery could well be on a first representation, received by an uncommonly crowded audience with reiterated bursts of applause. Mr. Upton, as the writer of the poetry, and Mr. Sanderson, composer of the music, may be said to have enriched this splendid production by their respective talents, while the interest and effect produced by the unrivalled acting of Mr. and Mrs. Astley is such as to leave all competition at a considerable distance.
