THIS and every EVENING, until Saturday next, will be presented, a new Entertainment, called The COUNTRY WAKE. Also a new grand Caledonian Spectacle Romance in two parts, called THE IRON TOWER; or the Cell of Mystery; written and got up by Mr. Astley, jun. Immediately after the Iron Tower, Mr. IRELAND will perform some of his surprising Feats of agility, in Jumping, &c.—EQUESTRIAN EXERCISES, The whole to conclude with a Pantomime, called HARLEQUIN VICTOR. Pirate, Mr. Gomery; Harlequin, Mr. Lasselles; Genii, Miss Gray; Pantaloon, Mr. Smith; Columbine, Mrs. Mercerot; and Clown, Mr. Laurent. In the course of the Pantomime, will be introduced an exact View of COPENHAGEN, exhibiting also the British and Danish Fleets in action.
In order to prevent disappointment, the Public will please to observe that the Iron Tower will commence at seven precisely. A new Comic Pantomime, written and superintended by Mr. Lonsdale, is in preparation, and will shortly be produced on Whitsun-Monday next, with various other new Entertainments.
Doors to be opened at Half past Five o’clock; Curtain rises at Half past Six precisely. Second Price at Half past Eight o’clock. Boxes 4s. Pit 2s. Gallery 1s. Places for the Boxes to be taken, at the Amphitheatre, of Mrs. Connell, Box-keeper.—Books of the Songs to be had at the Theatre.
