The new grand military and naval Spectacle of British Glory in Egypt, having been received with unbounded applause from crouded [sic] houses, will be repeated every Evening until further notice. Mr. Astley, jun. has also the honour to announce, that from the numerous enquiries after Mr. IRELAND, the Original Flying Phenomenon, he is engaged for twelve nights, and will appear This Evening after the above new military spectacle, which commences at 7 o’clock precisely.

THIS PRESENT FRIDAY, JUNE 12, and every Evening until further Notice, will be presented an entirely new Military and Naval Spectacle, called BRITISH GLORY IN EGYPT! Written and arranged for Stage Representation by Mr. Astley, jun. Delineating in Twenty-one entirely new Scenes, the whole of the important circumstances which took place from the 2d of March, when the British Fleet anchored in Aboukir Bay, until the Glorious 21st.—1. Main and Quarter Deck of the Foudroyant, exhibiting a general Muster of the Troops previous to their Disembarkation on the 8th of March.—2. The Admiral’s Cabin, —3. The Foudroyant, Ajax, Europa, Stately, Diadem, Druid, Thisbe, Tigre, &c.—4. Aboukir Bay, Mortar Battery, &c.—5. View near Aboukir, and Fortified Height.—6. Between Decks, Foudroyant, British Tars rejoicing—Song, Boatswain, by Mr. Wallack.—7. Mouth of the Nile, Aboukir Castle, &c.—8. A British Redoubt opening on Aboukir, with a Bombardment by Sea.—9. Internal View of Aboukir—10. Distant View of Grand Cairo.—11. British Commander in Chief’s Marquee.—12. View of the Egyptian Pyramids.—13. British Camp at Shirk Jiberry.—14. The British Park of Artillery—Song, Arab, Miss Gray.—15. French Commander in Chief’s Marquee.—16. A View near Alexandria.—17. View near Aboukir—Song, Corporal Firelock, Mr. Johannot.—18. General Menou’s Tent—British Fortitude, Recitative, Boatswain.—19. Outworks in Alexandira.—20. Plains of Alexandria—Grand and decisive Attack by real Cavalry and Infantry; particularly the hard contest between the brave 42d and Invincible Legion. To conclude with the total Defeat of the French, and the Capture of the Invincible Standard, which is presented to the ever to be lamented Sir Ralph Abercromby, after having received his Death Wound. Previous to the above Spectacle will be performed, for the 10th time, the Comic Divertisement of DARBY AND JOAN. To conclude with PUSS IN BOOTS, or HARLEQUIN and the OGRE! In which will be displayed, amongst a great variety of splendid scenery, a correct View of the City of Paris, with the whole course of the River Sienne.
