FAIR ROSAMOND—a nee spectacle, founded on the story of Rosamond de Clifford, the lovely, but unfortunate mistress of Henry the Second, was last night presented at the Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, where one of the most numerous and fashionable audiences witnessed at any public place his season, bestowed on it only the productive of considerable emolument to the Manager, but prove one of the most interesting, magnificent and fascinating productions the stage has produced for a number of years. The commencement of the spectacle presenting to the eye an army of warriors, with a squadron of twenty horses, surpasses any thing of the kind ever seen.
