The liberal and truly indefatigable Manager of the Royal Amphitheatre, Westminster-bridge, opened the Royal Theatre, Goodman’s Fields, for the winter season, last night; and, from the high and deserved reputation which the Royalty Theatre, under the direction of Mr. Astley, jun. was raised to in the course of the last winter, and the capital Entertainments now in performance, we may say, that the present season commences under the most favourable and attractive circumstances, every species of amusement that can please the eye or delight the ear being prepared for the occasion.
