The good opinion that we have long entertained of Mr. Astley, junior’s, abilities, as the Manager of the Royal Amphitheatre, have us reason to believe, that he would never suffer his French Company to quit England while in the nightly habit of attracting the most brilliant and overflowing audiences; an opinion which is now confirmed by their re-engagement for another month, which commenced with a new grand Spectacle, last night, called the Victims of Tyranny, or, the Monkish Warriors—a most pleasing, magnificent, and interesting performance.
