ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE—ASTLEY’s.
THE Public are most respectfully informed, that this Theatre will open on Monday next, the 11th of April, 1803, with a variety of NEW ENTERTAINMENTS, and the most extensive Company that ever appeared in this Kingdom at a Summer Theatre. Among the new Performers, in addition to those who were engaged last Summer, are the following: The Equestrian Department under immediate direction of Messrs. Smith and Crossman, with their wonderful Troop of Horsemen from Ireland. In the Ballets of Action, Dances, &c. Mons. St. Pierre and Miss Jenkinson (his Pupil) from the King’s Theatre, Haymarket; Madame Volange, from the Opera, Berlin; and Mrs. Wybrow, from the Theatre Royal, Covent-Garden. During the Holidays only, the French Company (who received such unbounded applause last Summer, and previous to their return to Paris from Ireland) will appear in a new French Spectacle.
