GREAT NOVELTY.
Astley’s, Westminster Bridge, under the Patronage of their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and Duke of York.
THIS present Monday, July 9, and every Evening until further notice, will be presented (for the 1st time) a new comic Ballet of Action, composed by Mons. Gouriet, called TOM SIMPLETON. After which (1st time) a most superb, grand, Chinese Spectacle, with extensive and brilliant scenery, machinery, dresses, &c. which has been some months in preparation, called ZINGINA; or, The Heroine of China. Zingina, the Heroine of China, Mrs. Astley, being her first appearance in this Theatre. The Spectacle composed and produced by Mr. Astley, jun. To conclude with a grand Chinese Ballet. Equestrian Exercises by Mr. Jeffries and Mr. Porter. In the course of the evening Mr. Johannot will sing a new Song, called “Cheap Living; or, Mr. Walker, the Dinner Hunter.” Also an entire new Song, to be sung by Mrs. Herbert, called “England’s Glory.” Sieur Saxoni’s elevated Tight Rope Dancing. The whole to conclude with (37th time) the popular Pantomime of BONAFAISO.
