ASTLEY’s AMPHITHEATRE.
This Theatre also commenced its Summer campaign under the direction of Mr. ASTLEY, jun. with a grand Equestrian and Pedestrian Spectacle, called The Blood Red Knight, or the Fatal Bridge. The manoeuvres in this Spectacle with horses, affords a treat to the admirers of equestrian exhibitions. It was received with unbounded applause by a numerous audience. The Pantomime entitled The Discovery of Harlequin’s Salutation to John Bull, abounds with excellent scenery, good tricks, and national allusions, which produced great applause.
