ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE, ASTLEY’s.—From year to year the Public have attentively marked the increased improvement in the Performances at this justly esteemed place of Summer Amusement; and the grand Equestrian Spectacle of “The Arab,” produced last season, was set down as not to be equalled. Never, however, were the Public more in error, and agreeably surprized, than by the representation of the new Spectacle of “The Blood-red Knight” yesterday evening. The story is every way interesting and natural; but to speak of what is done by horses and their riders, both on and under “The Fatal Bridge,” it must indeed by seen to be credited.
