Under the immediate Patronage of their Royal highnesses the Prince Regent and Duke of York.
This Evening, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, at Half past Six precisely, a Military Prelude, called LISBON; or, Ruse de Guerre on the Banks of the Tagus. After which, the Grand Naval, Military, Equestrian, and Pedestrian Spectacle, called The TYRANT SARACEN, and the NOBLE MOOR; in which piece twenty Horses perform surprising feats. Divers Exercises by 12 celebrated Equestrians. To which will be added, the favourite Pantomime of HARLEQUIN’s AMOUR, or Jupiter and Europa.—Places to be taken at the Amphitheatre, from ten till three o’clock, which cannot be kept after half-past seven.—Half price at half-past eight.—No money returned.
Ladies and Gentlemen who have honoured the Amphitheatre by giving orders for places, are most respectfully informed, that the present popular Pantomime, called Harlequin’s Amour, introducing, amongst other singular devices of curious workmanship, the famous little Flying Harlequin, from Stage round the Chandeliers, &c. cannot possibly be performed longer than till Wednesday Evening next (July 3) on account of very extensive preparations for a new Comic Pantomime, &c. which will positively be presented, for the first time, on Thursday July 4th.
